Project Name: Construction of Sewage lines in the City

1. The Palestinian Liberation Organization has received a grant from the French Development Agency (AFD) toward the cost of AFD project. The Municipal Development and Lending Fund (MDLF) is entrusted in the execution and supervision of the implementation of the Project.  The MDLF intends to apply part of the proceedings of this grant for the benefit of Ramallah Municipality to payments under the contract for: Construction of sewage lines in the City, contract No AFD-08062-2 ( RM/9/2008)

2. Ramallah Municipality now invites sealed bids from eligible and Pre-qualified bidders for the Construction of sewage lines in the City.
3. Pre-qualified Contractors are those who were prequalified by the West Bank central cities for the eligibility to participate in the bidding for the AFD projects and were approved by MDLF and AFD. The list of the contractors is available on the MDLF web site (www.mdlf.org.ps) and at the central municipalities.
4. Bidding will be conducted through the national Competitive Bidding (NCB) procedures specified in the MDLF’s Guidelines: Procurement under National competitive bidding is open to all pre qualified Bidders of national Country as defined in the Bidding Documents.
5. Interested pre-qualified bidders may obtain further information from Ramallah Municipality, Bidding Department, azar@ramallah-city.org, Tel: 02-2963215-8, Fax: 02-2963214, Mr. Azar Abdullah, and inspect the Bidding Documents at the address given below at 9:00am to 2:00 pm from 6/5/2008 to 20/5/2008
6. A complete set of Bidding Documents in English may be purchased by interested pre-qualified bidders on the submission of a written Application to the address below and upon payment of a non refundable fee 200 EURO .The method of payment will be in a Cashier’s Check or Direct deposit to Municipality account number 659150/7/530, Arab Bank Al Masyoun Branch. The Bidding Documents will be available at Ramallah Municipality.
7. Bids must be delivered to the address below at or before 11:00 o’clock  3/06/2008 Electronic bidding shall not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected.  Bids will be opened physically in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend in person at the address below at (11:30) o’clock 3/06/2008
8. All bids shall be accompanied by a Bid Security of 4,000 EURO
