The Ramallah Municipality established the Public Service Center in 2005. The center was opened to bolster the relationship between the municipality and the public, centralizing all services in one convenient location to save citizens time and effort by avoiding the need to visit multiple municipal departments.
Since 2006, the center has managed the flow of transactions across municipal departments with an information-sharing program that enables employees to track, monitor, and store service requests. In 2017, the Public Service Center reopened with a fresh, modernized space to better meet the needs of the public.
Vision for the Public Service Center
Ramallah Municipality aims to provide the best services to all residents with transparency and efficiency, ensuring that requests are handled quickly and through accessible channels-whether in-person or online. The center operates according to a clear, published guide of services and procedures, all conveniently centralized in one location.
Goals of the Public Service Center:
Ramallah Municipality’s Aspirations
Through its ongoing development of the E-Municipality Project, Ramallah Municipality looks forward to making processes easier for all residents, particularly those in the diaspora, by allowing them to submit requests, receive updates, and access information about their property and obligations through the online portal.
Bill Payment with PalPay
The Public Service Center offers PalPay services, enabling residents to conveniently pay their water, electricity, and telecom bills (including Jawwal and Ooredoo), as well as payments for lending institutions, Birzeit University, and more.
