The Ramallah Municipality takes an active role in fostering connections between the city’s cultural, community, and artistic institutions and their counterparts around the world. Through this cultural networking initiative, Ramallah links local institutions such as Al-Amari Camp, Ashtar Theatre , Al Kamandjati Association , the Edward Said National Conservatory of Music , and the Palestinian Circus School, in addition to others and connecting them with similar organizations in partner cities. This effort facilitates ongoing exchange programs, allowing for expertise to flow in both directions: international experts visit Ramallah, and local students and delegations gain invaluable experiences abroad.

Not only is the city a home to the Ramallah Cultural Palace, but it is also the site of the final resting place and museum of the great poet Mahmoud Darwish.
