As part of Batin Al-Hawa Sewage Project, the Ramallah Municipality is constructing a 14-kilometer sewage network to cover the entire Baten Al-Hawa area, parts of Al-Tira, and Al-Narjis neighborhood. This project will connect all residential units and buildings in Baten Al-Hawa to the city's public sewage system, eliminating the reliance on cesspits. This shift will help residents save on the cost of cesspit pumping, maintain the cleanliness of the area, and eliminate all health hazards related to improper waste management.
At the same time, the municipality is continuing to build the Baten Al-Hawa Sewage Treatment Plant, which reduces maintenance costs and operational expenses, while also considering environmental concerns in these areas.
