The community garden, a collaborative initiative between the Ramallah Municipality, Bank of Palestine, ANERA, the Bassem and Mona Hishmeh Foundation, and the TCO Foundation, is part of the larger Palestine Gardens (Al-Bayara) project in the Ramallah and Al-Bireh Governorate. This project aligns with the Municipality's vision to create a green space for every neighborhood, enriching the lives of both the children of Ramallah and the many visitors to the city.
The partnership between local institutions and private organizations highlights the shared responsibility for community development, bringing vital, sustainable projects to life in Ramallah. The garden offers family seating areas, a playground for children, and is designed to blend with the natural topography of the land. It preserves existing trees while incorporating new plant species. The garden is also accessible, ensuring that people with special needs can enjoy the space comfortably.
