As part of its mission to preserve and expand Ramallah’s green spaces, the Municipality established Raddana Woodland. The site spans over 7 dunams of densely forested land, filled with lush trees.
The first phase of the project began in mid-June 2012, focusing on restoring the stone terraces, preparing the land, creating pathways and steps, and installing park furniture, such as benches and seating areas. The second phase introduced essential facilities, including restrooms, a café, and parking spaces, ensuring a safe and comfortable experience for visitors. Raddana Woodland was officially opened in June 2013 and continues to offer a serene retreat within Ramallah.
