Found at the center of Ramallah, this square anchors the city’s main plaza, which hosts various festivals and events. Its design features a towering flagpole raising the Palestinian flag, symbolizing Arafat's legacy. The base of the flagpole, inspired by the Palestinian keffiyeh, includes a sculpture of a Palestinian youth raising the flag, reflecting Arafat's iconic words: A young boy and a young girl will one day raise the flag of Palestine over the minarets and churches of Jerusalem.
